It is with profound sadness and truly broken hearts that we announce the passing of our much-loved Caboolture Snakes family member, Kammy French.
Kammy was so much more than a volunteer or supporter—she was the heart and soul of our club. She lived and breathed the Caboolture Snakes, dedicating countless hours to helping wherever she was needed. Whether she was volunteering behind the scenes, lending a hand on game days, cheering passionately from the sidelines, or simply checking in on players, parents and fellow volunteers, Kammy’s kindness, generosity and unwavering commitment made everyone feel welcome. She embodied the true spirit of community, and her warmth touched the lives of so many.
Above all else, Kammy was a devoted and loving mum to six beautiful children. Three of her children proudly continue to wear the Snakes colours, carrying on the family connection that Kammy cherished so deeply. Her love for her family was limitless, and the pride she had in both her children and our club was evident in everything she did.
Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with her partner, Zack, her children, extended family and many friends as they face this heartbreaking and unimaginable loss. No words can ease their pain, but we hope they find comfort in knowing just how deeply Kammy was loved and respected by our entire Snakes community.
As a club, we have established a GoFundMe to support Kammy’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar raised will go directly to her family to help ease the financial burden, allowing them to focus on being together, supporting one another and honouring Kammy’s beautiful life and lasting legacy.
