The first incident occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. on Interstate 680 North near the Parish Road exit in Fairfield. According to initial reports, the collision involved a gray Toyota RAV4 and a tan Chevrolet Bolt. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and assessed those involved. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the crash was handled without the need for medical transport. However, the incident contributed to traffic slowdowns as responders worked to clear the vehicles and restore normal traffic flow.
Shortly after the first collision, a second accident occurred farther north on the same stretch of Interstate 680. This incident involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance to the rider, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. Officials have not released details regarding the rider’s condition, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
Meanwhile, at approximately 12:25 p.m., another significant collision was reported on Highway 37 West near the bridge in the Mare Island area of Vallejo. The four-vehicle crash involved a silver Subaru Outback, a white Toyota Prius, a gray Lexus sedan, and a black Tesla. Emergency responders assessed the occupants and provided assistance at the scene.
One person involved in the Highway 37 collision was transported to a hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed. Traffic in the area experienced delays as crews worked to remove damaged vehicles and investigate the cause of the crash.
